While a good set of knives are essential, a great pair of kitchen sheers can make many cooking tasks much quicker and easier.
Use them to snip fresh herbs, take the ends off of green beans, cut a chicken, and shell and devein shrimp.
A clean pair of scissors in the drawer are also helpful in cutting through poultry trussing, opening packages, and cutting parchment paper to size.
The uses are endless, and trust us: once you have a pair ( or two), you will wonder how you ever lived without them!
