Sometimes when fashion calls, we just shouldn’t answer. It seems the breakout trend of summer is “cheeky shorts,” or shorts cut so super short that the butt cheeks show. While some find the look sexy, they really have no place on urban city streets.
Lately we have seen women of all ages exposing their cheeks in public, and frankly, we just have to say no. The worst part, is that most of the women we have seen are also sporting thick and flabby thighs, cellulite and a muffin top oozing over the waistband of their short tight bottoms. It’s not unusual to see a cropped top exposing a bare belly.
This isn’t about fat shaming. Even the most perfect, beautiful body should be appropriately covered on city streets.
Sexy isn’t about showing everything. The intrigue of what lies beneath can be far more alluring than letting it all hang out.

This trend is comfortable, cool and flattering on most body types. For those in more relaxed work environments you can even sport them to work.
