Chip Dips

Did you ever have a craving for white chocolate peppermint flavored potato chips? Hmm, neither did I.

In the never-ending quest for junk food purveyors to out-do one another by creating wacky flavors, Pringles is introducing a line of holiday treats.

Yes, the faux potato chips are now being infused with seasonal flavors, including Pumpkin Pie Spice, Cinnamon & Sugar, and White Chocolate Peppermint.

Although the chips are not available until November, some lucky tasters at the Huffington Post were asked to review the products.

Comments ranged from “not revolting”, to “horrible abomination to humanity.”

The Pumpkin Pie Spice, which is exclusive to Walmart stores, was described as tasting like “ breath mints mixed with potatoes.”

The White Chocolate Peppermint was classified as “spoiled mouthwash and spuds,” and earned the title of “worst chip EVER!”

Brave enough to try them yourself? They hit the shelves on November 1, and will cost about $1.79 per package.

Sounds disgusting – not shocking it’s a Walmart thing

The white chocolate peppermint sounds the worst, but if I was going to indulge in processed food with trans fats, this would be low on my list.
      Thanks for commenting!

Which sounds about right, since we’ve certainly never had the urge to eat potato chips and chew gum at the same time.
