As the men’s fashion shows come to a close across Europe, some new trends are emerging for Spring 2013.
One of the most prevalent themes is matching, in a much more literal way than we’ve previously seen.
Here are just a few of the ways designers are playing the Match Game:
Riccardo Tisci is tickled pink to cut his impeccably tailored pieces in all one hue at Givenchy:
Artful layers are completely aligned, also at Givenchy:
Acne takes a directional approach to stripes:
Henry Guillaume cuts his checks on the bias for a short suit, matching shirt and shoes at Carven:
Roberto Cavalli likes head to toe aqua:
Salvatore Ferragamo matches the shirt, sweater and jacket, but chooses a contrasting tone for the pants:
Monochromatic dressing took the catwalks by a storm this season. All we can say is, “Game, set MATCH!”
